Copernicus Sentinel–1 is a C-Band Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite mission within the European Programme. The two satellites Sentinel-1A and -1B were launched in April 2014 2016, respectively. POD (Precise Orbit Determination) Service responsible for determination of orbital auxiliary products required by Payload Data Ground Segment (PDGS). Precise orbits are determined based on dual-frequency GPS (Global Positioning System) data delivered dedicated geodetic-grade receivers on-board satellites.
